The textbook provides didactic material necessary for the acquisition of the subject Slovak language and literature in the sense of the State Educational Programme.
The structure of the textbook allows for the identification of the content necessary for acquisition depending on the year in which the child is enrolled. The structure of the textbook corresponds to the curriculum and syllabus of the Slovak Curriculum - spelling, orthography, word types, lexicology, syntax... .
Each part of the curriculum is divided according to the content of each grade. The child/teacher can thus easily find out which years' content needs to be covered. Each section of the curriculum for each year contains an overview of the material and basic types of exercises for practice and mastery. The aim is to ensure that the child has a comprehensive knowledge of the Slovak language from all the years prior to the one he/she is currently attending and is able to progress as quickly as possible in line with the pupils in his/her class.
The textbook will consist of 7 chapters: 1. Sound dimension, spelling; 2. Morphology; 3. Lexicology; 4. Syntax; 5. Lyric; 6. Epic; 7. Drama.
Each chapter is clearly divided according to grade - 2nd - 9th grade. Pupils will thus have an overview of the curriculum supplemented by each year group. The theoretical material is concretised in exercises.
