I am a teacher with more than 16 years of experience, a coach, the author of the book "Четвертый не лишний" (The fourth is not redundant). 32 years I have been living and working in Russia. I focus on teaching Slovak and Czech as a foreign language to children and russian-speaking students of different ages.

Three of our 4 children (16 to 22 yrs old) are bilingual. I know very well how difficult it is to preserve your native language and pass it on to your children when you are the only source of the language. Under my guidance, the children have passed the Slovak language and other subjects in Slovakia every year with flying colours, thus completing their compulsory schooling as stipulated by law. My elder daughter graduated from high school in Košice.

After taking into foster care a 12 year old boy from a home in Siberia, I started to work in special education. The boy, who could not read properly in 6th grade and did not know multiplication tables, passed the state monitors and graduated from school.
