We are proud to announce that the "Slovak Language for Foreign Children" project has been selected and included in a publication of the European Commission. This publication highlights successful examples of projects supported by Erasmus+ and the European Solidarity Corps that effectively help people affected by the conflict in Ukraine.
The project "Slovak language for children of foreigners" was aimed at providing education and support to children of foreigners who found themselves in our country as a result of the conflict in Ukraine. The aim of the project was not only to teach them the basics of the Slovak language, but also to support their integration into the local society. Being the project coordinator, iCan Language School, together with other partners, created special teaching materials adjusted to the needs of the children and their families.
We believe that this project not only helped the children to better integrate into their new environment, but also strengthened their sense of belonging to the local community.
