iCan School has become a partner of the unique project "Digital contribution for UA pupils" ("Ukrajinský žiak"), launched by the Digital Coalition.
The project provides support to Ukrainian children who have refugee status and attend primary or secondary school in Slovakia.
Within the framework of the "Ukrajinský žiak" project, it is possible to provide a contribution (in the form of a certificate) of 350 EUR for the purchase of a new digital device for up to 20,000 Ukrainian children.
The reason for our partnership is the fact that our textbooks help foreign children to learn the Slovak language and integrate more easily into the educational process in Slovakia, which supports the overall focus of the project.
Currently, less than half of the Ukrainian pupils in the Slovak Republic are in the school education system.
The project "Ukrajinský žiak" can significantly contribute to the motivation of Ukrainian children and their parents to attend school in the Slovak Republic and ensure the continuity of the educational process, and what is equally important for children after the stress they have experienced, the project contributes to their socialization in a new, Slovak environment, while the war in Ukraine is still ongoing.
